Howdy!

My name is Ansley Hutchinson and I manage a coffee shop in Oak Cliff when I am not writing, painting, or shooting photos. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in commercial art, the subjects I work with range from medical illustration to oil painting. Having been trained classically regarding oil on canvas during my college experience, I paint primarily with oils and gouache and am partial to classical subjects. While at University I interned during the summer of ’22 as editor, designer, and illustrator for DOXA; a magazine that highlights student’s literary work. I photographed, designed and illustrated for that magazine along with many other projects in relation with it.

I would eventually like to publish my very own illustrated novel as I currently have five books in the works. With that, I enjoy writing short fiction, science fiction, fantasy, westerns and am open to partnering with authors for future projects. I can take on many subjects and mediums including but not limited to digital and studio illustration, design, oil painting and wedding photography.
